Artist Biography

Jeff Solberg

A native of Washington State, Jeff Solberg has had an eye for art all of his life. In college, while working as an illustrator and studying architecture and graphic design, he purchased his first 35mm camera and began a lifelong interest in photography.

Ten years later, while working in the field of Marketing Communications at a Fortune 500 company, Jeff began a side career in commercial photography. Initially shooting with 4x5 equipment, and later incorporating the latest in digital equipment, Jeff has continued to shoot both commercial projects for corporate clients, as well as a variety of subjects just for fun.

In 2005, Jeff created Regal Eye Ltd., a business to expand on his photography, graphic design and web design work for corporate customers. Shortly afterward, he began Regal Eye Images, a venue to showcase his photographic artwork and to respond to increasing interest by friends and relatives to acquire his photographs.
